RadBus Mosel-Maifeld

The Mosel-Maifeld RadBus (line 366) takes you from Monday to Sunday every two hours from Burgen via Hatzenport to Münstermaifeld. From here, the Maifeld Cycle Path takes you up to Ploch, where you can continue either to Ochtendung or to Mayen. The medieval Genoveva Castle, which rises high above the market square, is worth a detour.

You can also explore the Mosel-Maifeld bike route after a stroll through the old town of Münstermaifeld: The bike path, which is just over 30 kilometers long, is moderately difficult with its 430 meters of elevation gain and makes for a nice day trip. It leads you through the wide valleys of the Eifel Maifeld to the tranquil Hatzenport on the Moselle. Here you can take the RadBus Mosel-Maifeld back to Burgen. You also have a connection to the RadBus Hunsrück-Mosel (line 629) via Emmelshausen to Kastellaun.

The RadBus Mosel-Maifeld can transport 22 bicycles, electric bikes can also be taken. The RadBus does not stop at the castles along the route. You can reach them by other buses.
