RadBus Moseltal

With the RadBus Moseltal (Bus No 333) your bike ride along the banks of the Moselle is accompanied by bus. Between Trier and Bernkastel-Kues the route always follows the course of the Moselle and the Moselle cycle path via Ruwer, Schweich and Neumagen. The RadBus runs on all Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays and in the Rhineland-Palatinate holiday period, also from Mondays to Fridays.

Up to 20 bikes or electric bikes can be transported by bike trailer. In each direction you can choose from 3 journeys which also make it possible for you to do half-day trips comfortably. Along the RadBus Moseltal route you will find many places connecting with the regional Moselle rail line Trier to Koblenz. What’s more, in Trier there are regional rail connections in all directions. The RadBus Untere Mittelmosel (Bus No 360) takes you from Bernkastel-Kues up to Traben-Trarbach – however this bus route cannot transport electric bikes.
If you are not using an electric bike during the week and outside of the holiday periods then alternatively you can also take the RadBus Obere Mittelmosel (Bus No 220), which takes you from Trier to Neumagen-Dhron. The RadBus Mittelmosel (Bus No 330) also operates daily between Neumagen-Dhron and Bernkastel-Kues.
