Purchasing passenger tickets
You can only buy bike tickets on the radbusse.de booking platform. Passenger tickets can be purchased before travelling via the DB-Navigator, the VRT mobil App and VRM-Fahrplan App or in the VRT- and VRM-Kundenbüros (VRT/VRM ticket offices). If you have no possibility of acquiring a ticket in advance then alternatively you can also buy a ticket directly from the bus driver.
Smooth loading processes
So that the transportation of your bicycles runs smoothly, we ask you to note the following information before travel departure. The bus drivers are happy to help you with any questions – but please keep the mandatory minimum distance.
Important: please be at the bus stop on time, ideally 10 minutes before bus departure. Then you will have enough time to remove all accessory parts (bike basket, lights etc..) and batteries on electric bikes and be ready for loading, when the bus arrives. This helps the bus driver to prevent any delays further on along the journey.
If you are taking an electric bike with you, please remove the battery and help the bus driver to load it. Furthermore, removing all loose parts applies to all types of bicycles prior to loading. Oversized bicycles (for example by the manufacturer Prophete with a battery on the saddle bar) cannot be transported for reasons of safety. Bicycles with a tyre width of more than 2 inches or 508 mm size cannot be transported due to the size of the brackets on the bicycle racks.
Rigid children’s trailers, tandems, recumbent bikes, fatbikes (this also includes bikes with oversized tyres wider than 2 inches) and other special constructions cannot be transported.
