RadBus Hunsrück-Mosel

Between Kastellaun and Hatzenport you can enjoy the scenic landscape on the Schinderhannes cycle path between Kastellaun and Emmelshausen as well as the Schinderhannes Untermosel cycle path between Emmelshausen and the Moselle. For many kilometres you can freewheel and let your eye wander towards the Moselle or the Hunsrück Heights. It is also possible to only cycle short stretches, because the RadBus Hunsrück-Mosel (Bus No 629) can assist you if required on single sections. Or, you only want to relax riding downhill to the Moselle, then start at Emmelshausen and after that let the RadBus assist you over the steep ascents back to Emmelshausen (or before the tour) Many possibilities are open to you!

The RadBus runs in the Rhineland-Palatinate holidays from Mondays to Fridays three times between Emmelshausen and Hatzenport and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays at least 5-times a day between Kastellaun and Hatzenport. Up to 20 bikes can be transported. Moreover, in Hatzenport you will also have a rail connection all along the Moselle and in Emmelshausen you can link up with the Hunsrück rail network upwards to the Rhine.
