Rad- und Wander­Bus Oberes Ahrtal

The RadBus Oberes Ahrtal (bus no. 899) runs from 01. August Blankenheim to Ahrbrück through the charming Ahrtal. Unfortunately, this area was severely affected by the flood catastrophe in 2021. For this reason, only some parts of the Ahr cycle path are currently accessible: from Blankenheim for example you can travel all the way to Fuchshofen. You can also use the Ahr cycle path between Schuld and Ahrbrück and from Walporzheim through to Kripp am Rhine.

If you are tempted to go southwards, you can take the Mineralquellen (Mineral Sources) cycle path near Ahrdorf and in Dümpelfeld take the Vulkan-Eifel route southwards to explore the Vulkan Eifel. In Daun you can link up with the RadBus Eifel-Mosel which will take you to Gerolstein or Cochem.

The RadBus Oberes Ahrtal run 8 trips daily starting at 8:47am. On Saturdays and Sundays 3 additional buses are available from 8:12am. In total 20 bicycles including e-bikes can be transported.

Tickets for bike transport can be booked from July.
